Eat Smart: Your Food, Your Brain

This tip just in from Dr. Laura Hake, Biology Professor at Boston College: 2011 Meat Eaters Guide to Climate Change and Health.

Please check out this guide! It is a fun, colorful website from the Environmental Working Group that provides great information on the types of foods that are best for your body and the environment.

A reminder take-away from the 2011 Alzheimer’s Disease International Summit:
The risk of this disease and ALL other chronic illness can be mitigated by our personal choices!
A. Diet: mediterranean diet (fruits, veggies, lean proteins, whole grains, organic as much as possible)
B. Exercise: 30 minutes daily including strengthening exercises

Moving forward with a listening heart,
vision, inquiry and action,
~ Mary
